Notice is hereby given that the Town of Hampden, Columbia County, Wisconsin, shall hold a public meeting on October 20th, 2026 at 5:30pm, at the Hampden Town Hall, N1291 County N, Columbus to discuss proposed ordinances - Ch 19 Regarding Public Right-of-Way Permit Required and Ch 20 Issuing Citations for Violation of Ordinances and Providing a Schedule of Cash Deposits.
Chapter 19 Regarding Public Right-of-Way Permit Required would repeal and replace Ordinance No. 2025-14 and would establish permit requirements and standards for work within Town rights-of-way, including road, driveway, culvert, utility, and excavation projects. Chapter 20, Issuing Citations for Violation of Ordinances and Providing a Schedule of Cash Deposits, would repeal and replace Ordinance No. 18 and would authorize the Town to issue citations for ordinance violations and establish related forfeiture, payment, and enforcement procedures.
