Notice of Public Budget Hearing &
Special Town Elector Meeting
For TOWN OF HAMPDEN, Columbia County
Notice is hereby given that the Town of Hampden, Columbia County, Wisconsin will hold a Public Hearing on the town’s proposed 2027 Budget on Tuesday, November 17, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at the Hampden Town Hall, N1291 County Road N, Columbus, WI. Immediately following the public hearing, a Special Town Elector Meeting will be held to approve the 2026 total town tax levy to be collected in 2027. The proposed 2027 budget in detail is available for inspection at the clerk’s home by appointment. The following is a summary of the proposed budget.

Notice of Regular Monthly Board Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Monthly Board Meeting will be held on November 17, 2026 immediately following the Special Town Meeting for the purpose of Roll Call, Pledge of Allegiance, Citizen Input/Correspondents including Wind Turbine and BECI Mid-Continental Transmission Line updates, Chairman’s Report, Clerk-Treasurer Report, Payment of Bills, Budget Approval, Memorandum of WisVote Services, Transportation Resolution, Road Repair/Maintenance, Plan Commission and any other business that may come before the board. The board may change the agenda prior to the meeting. Discussion and action may occur on any of the above agenda items.
