TOWN OF HAMPDEN

 Notice is hereby given that the Town of Hampden, Columbia County, Wisconsin, shall hold a public meeting on May 26th, 2026 at 5:30pm, at the Hampden Town Hall, N1291 County N, Columbus to discuss a proposed ordinance for a temporary moratorium on the data centers within the township. 

This ordinance includes a temporary 12‑month moratorium on Data Centers due to the potential strain these facilities may place on local capacity, public services, and infrastructure. An additional six‑month extension may be considered if needed. This pause will allow the township sufficient time to research and draft an ordinance providing comprehensive and appropriate regulations of Data Centers.
